Integrator uses wireless joystick for robot control

In this application video, integrator Arthur Wiebe shows that it is possible to connect a wireless joystick to the robot controller. This makes it easier to position the robot and it is no longer necessary to do this in the software.

The application shows a classic conveyor belt picking task with small containers as they are found in the cosmetics industry. After programming, these are picked from the conveyor belt by an igus Delta robot mounted in a robot cell in a specific cycle and deposited again at a specified place.

Delta robots are the ideal choice when fast pick and place tasks are to be automated.
